Dr. Rosamaría León holds the position of Senior Lector I at Yale University. She has also taught at the University of Connecticut and Trinity College in Hartford.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Literature and Linguistics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and completed her M.A. and Ph.D. in Spanish from University of Connecticut. Her scholarly research on the literature, culture and religious art of the viceroyalty of Peru has resulted in publications in national and international journals. At Yale, Rosamaria has developed multiple courses which utilize art and museums in the acquisition of Spanish, including a study abroad program which she has conducted in Lima, Peru for more than 5 years.
